You must have a WordCamp KC ticket to attend the party

  • Get social! Use hashtag #WCKC all across social media. We’ve found that Twitter is especially popular among WordCamp KC attendees.

MORE IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Please check-in each day of WordCamp KC. This helps us get an accurate attendance each day and plan for next year
  • Just give your name to check-in
  • Please sit toward the front of the room at your WordCamp KC session. This shows respect for the speaker – remember, they’re volunteering their time and expertise for free – and it leaves the back of the room open for late-comers to not disturb the ongoing session
  • If you find that a session is not for you, feel free to leave and find a different session to attend
  • Please check-in at each WordCamp KC party… especially if you want free food and/or drink!
  • When you check-in at your 1st WordCamp KC event, you will get a name badge. Keep this badge with you throughout WordCamp KC. This is how you get your complimentary food and drinks
  • What to bring to WordCamp KC – Read this post
  • Watch your email each morning for a “Today at WordCamp KC” reminder
  • We recommend you attend all the parties! WordCamp veterans agree, the relationships you make at these parties are the most valuable part of WordCamp
  • Get social! Use hashtag #WCKC all across social media. We’ve found that Twitter is especially popular among WordCamp KC attendees.
